Is the Axopar rental private?

Yes. Your Baymingo Axopar rental is reserved for your group, so you can plan a day around your own preferences within your booked time.

How many guests can the Axopar accommodate?

The Axopar accommodates up to 12 guests for local rentals. If you are interested in the separate Bimini trip, confirm its group limit and arrangements on the Bimini page before booking.

How much does an Axopar boat rental cost?

Pricing depends on your rental duration. Use the price guide above and check FareHarbor for current availability, the final rental price and any additional booking fees. Independent captain services are paid separately at $60 per hour.

What is included in the boat rental?

For local outings, gas, ice, water, a cooler and a floating mat are included. The boat also has an enclosed air-conditioned cabin, a private bathroom and outdoor areas to relax. Captain services and any Hollywood pickup fee are separate. The Bimini trip has its own arrangements.

Destinations & trip length

Can we visit Raccoon Island and Haulover from Fort Lauderdale?

Yes, with sufficient rental time and suitable conditions. The 5–6 hour suggestion is a planning guide for Haulover Sandbar and/or Raccoon Island. Your captain will help plan the route within your booked time.

Can we explore Miami on the Axopar?

Miami can be an option for longer outings, including skyline and waterfront island views. The 6–8 hour guide helps you plan Haulover and/or Miami, but the route depends on your departure point, preferences and conditions.

How many hours should we book?

Start with the duration guide above: 2 hours for Fort Lauderdale sightseeing or its sandbar; 3–4 hours for more time around Fort Lauderdale; 5–6 hours for Haulover and/or Raccoon Island; and 6–8 hours for Haulover and/or Miami. These are flexible ideas rather than fixed tours. Contact us if you would like help choosing.

Can we personalize our route and stops?

Yes. Discuss your preferred sightseeing, swimming and relaxation stops with your independently hired captain. Your route is adjusted to your booked duration, departure point and sea conditions. A Hollywood departure may reduce the rental time needed for southbound destinations, with a separate pickup fee.

Is the captain included in the rental price?

No. You independently choose and hire your captain, and pay captain services directly to that captain, separately from the boat rental.

Can I hire a captain outside your list?

Yes. You are free to choose another qualified and appropriately credentialed captain. You are not required to choose a captain from Baymingo’s suggested list. Contact Baymingo in advance to coordinate the required boat and rental arrangements.

How is the captain paid?

You pay your selected captain directly. The captain rate shown for the Axopar is $60 per hour, separate from the boat rental price.

What does the captain take care of during our trip?

Your captain handles the boat, the route and the local conditions, and helps you plan the stops you want — swimming, sandbar time, sightseeing or simply relaxing on board. You choose the pace; your captain takes care of the rest within your booked time.

Comfort & your day on board

Can we go snorkeling or swimming?

Swimming stops and offshore snorkeling may be possible when the chosen route and sea conditions allow. The Axopar can cruise offshore in suitable conditions, but ocean access and snorkeling stops are not guaranteed. Ask Baymingo about the duration that suits your plans.

Does the Axopar have air conditioning and a bathroom?

Yes. The Axopar has an enclosed air-conditioned cabin and a private onboard bathroom, along with outdoor seating and sunbed areas.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Yes. BYOB is welcome, and a cooler, ice and water are provided. Please do not bring red wine, and follow the onboard instructions shared before your trip.

Where do we meet, and what if sea conditions change?

The Fort Lauderdale meeting point is Cox’s Landing Boat Ramp, 1784 SE 15th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. Arrive 15 minutes early. If you book a Hollywood pickup, follow the separate instructions provided for that departure. Your captain may adjust the route to conditions; contact Baymingo about questions affecting your booking.
